Welcome to the site. As far as I know there are one or two US members visiting the forum. I don't know the exact number but it might be interesting to get a breakdown of all the different nationalities using MoDaCo.

As for questions, bring 'em on!

We have a lot of US members, a US based moderator, but until the networks over there start selling smartphone2k2 devices they mainly just need help getting the physical phone working on their networks.

Welcome to the site.

Hello, and welcome to the site!

There are a good amount of US users here on MoDaCo, although the majority are based in the UK, where the phone originated. Once the US gets "their own" Smartphone, I think you'll see alot more US traffic here!

But in the meantime, know that many US users have been using the Smartphone under US carriers with tremendous success. So don't let the European/Asian branding fool you. If you have an opportunity to purchase a Smartphone before one becomes officially available, I wouldn't have any reservations about recommending you do so. You'll become happily addicted as I have.

I personally have been using an Orange SPV for several months under T-Mobile without any problems and have recently purchased a Mitac Mio 8380. (It just arrived in my office today...I was planning on working from home today...guess I'm getting dressed! :) )

This site in an invaluable resource. You'll be glad you joined. ;)
