i messed up my spv

i droped my phone a couple of times so the casing looked like hell, so i decided to paint it. i took it apart, painted it and put it back together.....

:)

it does a normal bootup. but when i get to the homescreen it doesn't respond to anything, even the bootloader gets stuck.

so i don't know if it's the software or the hardware?

and the second problem is that i accidently touched the lcd itself, so when i turned on the phone.... damn!

maybe somebody has an idea what the problem could be and how to clean the lcd, please let me know

As for the LCd you can't clean it as you will just make it worse.

You could tra a soft damp cloth but you would have to be extremely careful.

As for you initial problem it sounds like you may have a key sticking.

It sounds like you have a similar problem to me. When the phone first boots up, it doesn't respond to any keys _except_ power and voice record. If I press either of these once, the keypad's functionality returns to normal. Perhaps this may work with yours.

If not try removing the casing again and reseating the keypad.

I don't think it is software, as it exhibits the behaviour in the bootloader aswell, so a hard reset probably wouldn't help.

i saw someone at the meet with this problem, on his phone he had to press the power button once the phone was booted, then all the keys worked.
