Have you tried copying the contacts from your t68 to your smart (or addict) sim then use the SIM manager to copy contacts to SAP? Then pag naayos na activesync problem mo pwede mo na i-edit yung entries para iaayos.

@kap,

you'll need MS Outlook to perform the sync. Just sync your T68 with Outlook using XTNDConnect. Then sync your SAP with Outlook. Voila! That's what I did when I transferred my t68 phone contact to my former SAP.

step by step:

1. install outlook 2000 (comes with your SAP CD)

2. install Active Sync software

3. connect your SAP to your PC -- the Active Sync icon on your system tray (lower right-hand corner of your screen) shoudl turn from gray to green and produce a sound (tininink! hehe...)

4. during first connection, it will ask you if you want to conenct as guest or create a partnership. choose the latter.

5. all the rest is self explanatory.

just tell us kung saan ka na-stuck.

good luck! :)

Just a reminder for those who are trying to install Putlook and ActiveSync on their desktop PCs... Please disable any Virus protection software you have because this can prevent you from completing a good installation of the said applications.

Follow the instructions on the CD...

That is...

1. Install Outlook... That is if you are not using Outlook yet... but if you have Outlook 97 and up... it will do.

2. Install ActiveSync

3. Only then should you connect your USB cable and your SAP to the PC.

There's a smartphone application, phonebackup, which can backup to storage or IPSM important files like contacts, calendars and tasks. It comes with the bundled softwares of Mitac. You might want to try your luck with that one just in case you want to have a good backup you can restore if ever similar accidents happen. We were discussing that software during our eb last friday, sayang di ka nakapunta :) PM me if you need it, the site where it came from is no longer available.
