Hello one and all (new here and new owner of qtek 7070)

i just put in a order for the qtek 7070 and after some lurking around the web i found this website :)

So, what advice do you chaps have for me?

What to install first , what to get, where to go etc.

Btw, can i use it as a remote?, my old ipaq i could use, and my 3 month old nokia 7650 i can use ;)

There is a thread here somewhere (try a search) called something like "the first 48 hours with a smartphone - that has loads of things to get you started.

I'd recommend a few apps:

File explorer (I use Resco Explorer 2003, but there are others)

GPRS Traffic Counter (tracks your GPRS use to avoid huge bills)

A nice homescreen - there are loads to download

XBar - A task-switcher program that also shows memory in use

I'm quite new to Smartphones too, and this site has been a huge help. Take some time to look around and do some searches for answers to common questions.
