*** E100 Batt Problems - 16HRS initial - Helpful Orange ***

I believe that in the pack with UK Orange SPV E100 there is not really a clear instruction that the SPV should initially be charged for at least 16 hours. Many customers have told Orange Customer services

Although I did mine for 16hrs the batt has been awful, less than 24 hrs a time after a charge. Orange are replacing my phone tomorrow within 28days of buying the phone... the complete phone/charger/batt package for some reason

They explained that they have a feedback forum to improve documents such as the Getting Started Guide (which states first charge should be 3hrs + in section 1.2). Only thing is its a slow process, and it could take an age...

So if you are thinking about upgrading or joining the E100 club ... charge the bloody thing for a good time first (regardless of the instructions) and stick with your shitty T68i or whatever until its done :)

Agree the first charge is the important one.

Li-on batteries suffer less from memmory loss but they still can have problems.

Usual brilliant service ....they got my new phone to me this morn , they asked for just handset, batt and charger....

Just opened the box when I got home and its the entire pack...
