Hi, someone stole my SPV. :) Is there a way to make it unusable so it will be worthless to whoever stole it?

Give your Service Provider a Ring an tell them your EMEI Number (Maybe on the Box of your Phone). They can Blacklist it on all UK Networks !

They should have a record of you IMEI number anyway, hopefully your provider can block the phone

the same way they can here in the UK.

Sounds like another dodgy phone for ebay :)

E100's are going for ridiculous money ..... had a quick look while I was looking for acessories . Think was going for about £380 Brand New , Unlocked wetc etc

Thanks for the info. With the EMEI it will block the phone completely even if they tweak the hardware and all?

Yep when the phone get's blocked it stops the phone being used on the network.

The only way to change that is by re-writing the IMEI number which in the UK

carries a 5 year jail term. I don't know if the same penilties apply in the Philippines.

Ok that should be helpful to the thief he he he he. He gets to use the phone in prison :)

I've spoken with the carrier and have also reported it to the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) the regulatory board. Here in the Philippines, they're the ones that do the blocking.
