A fix for non-working skin menus after rom updating

I am close to giving up with this one. Several other peeps are suffering with it.And I have looked in vain for days.

After changing from Orange default rom to Q-Tek, Eurotel or the i-Mate, none of the menu shortcuts that are built into the skins such as DX_PPC work anymore.

Its a case of the first default ones do such as the calendar,sms mail and profiles work but the rest are literaly ignored.

Any ideas......
