Guest kyrkesmith Posted September 3, 2003 Report Posted September 3, 2003 Isn't that nice - they've extended the free WAP for PAYG customers until the end of September. It's pretty decent - all internet connections are free, whatever access point you're connecting to, apart from the MMS one.
Guest Roberthartt Posted September 3, 2003 Report Posted September 3, 2003 what network? what network?
Guest mattscholey Posted September 7, 2003 Report Posted September 7, 2003 Yeah, a lot of my friends who have some crappy PAYG phone where WAP is the best feature have really been enjoying free WAP, and have been using it a lot, when before they wouldn't use it at all. WAP needs a big network like Orange to offer it for free for a bit, so people can discover that it does have something to offer. Matt
Guest spacecowboy6982 Posted September 7, 2003 Report Posted September 7, 2003 WAP, wot the hell is WAP !!?? Lol, o.j people - i haven't used WAP since the days of my SL45 !! Must give it a go...wot happened to free WAP for us contract customers !?
Guest kyrkesmith Posted September 7, 2003 Report Posted September 7, 2003 Yeah, I agree. I haven't used WAP for a while. The thing is, this free WAP was for most of the summer, and incredibly, included normal internet too, meaning you could use MSN Messenger totally free - which was nice. Now, I've just noticed, however, the extension to the freeness doesn't include normal internet, only WAP, which is a shame.

I can't get a straight answer out of Orange (no surprise there).
