How come the automatic option from the data connections doesn't do auto? I mean, connections should switch automatically whenever the smartphone is disconnected from the USB cable or not (likewise, if it is not connected from the cable it should use GPRS connection and if it is connected it should automatically switch to pass thru connection).

Yep it's not the best working system.

Not really all you can do is change the settings when you want to go between Passthrough or GPRS

have you ever found a fix/workaround for this? It's absolutely killing me. My Mpx200 WM2002 won't correctly auto detect between GRPS and USB when placed in and out of cradle. Specifically when I use it behind our corporate firewall. Afterward it doesn't synch GRPS even if I remove the ATT mMode proxy from the data connections altogether. HELP!
