Guest WeaponX Posted January 21, 2004 Report Share Posted January 21, 2004 for those of you asking kung pano magshare ng internet connection with your desktop... 1. make sure you are connected via activesync 2. open activesync --> options --> rules 3. look for "pass through" and make sure the connection is set to "work" 4. on your phone, go to programs --> settings --> data connections 5. set your work connection to "pass through connection" 6. open pocket IE --> menu --> options --> connections 7. uncheck "automatically detect settings" 8. set "select network" to "my corporate network" additional instructions". (see edit above) Hi, I already tried following the steps above. Nakapagbrowse na rin ako before. But now, ayaw na. Kahit anong website ayaw. There is an error "The page you are looking for cannot be found" whenever I tried browsing. Is there an additional step to be made to prevent this from happening? Use PHM RegEdit then go to: HKLM/Software/Microsoft/RIL/OperatorNames 2. Create a new string value then if you're using a. Smart SIM, type 51503 as value name. Then under value data, type your desired operator name. b. Globe SIM, type 51502 as value name. Then under value data, type your desired operator name. c. SunCellular SIM, type 51505 as value name. Then ....same as above. 3. Restart phone for changes to take effect. Example: ...since Im using Addict Mobile SIM (Smart Telco) Value Name: 51503 Value Data: BayanTel <- this will appear in the homescreen I had mine set to "BayanTel" hahaha.
