TEXT-OVER-VIDEO on LCD Projectors

Someone here might know this ...

I volunteered to do research on how we could superimpose TEXT on live VIDEO for our LCD Projector. I need links to tutorials / hardware / software requirements for this kind of project.

Better still... Write on transparencies (normally used for presentations) and hold it in front of the projector :)

Or build one for yourself.

At Uni I built a device that superimposed text on a standard TV camera signal. Kinda tricky to wire wrap but it worked pretty well. Got an A for it too.

But I'm guessing thats a little beyond what you wanted...
