Guest JeckeL Posted September 4, 2003 Report Posted September 4, 2003 Hi all, I just bought myself an orange spv, and now I'm busy with getting it nice, but still got some questions: I downloaded some movies, WMA, but when I play them, they are not playing smoothly. Can I fix this? And what about complete DivX on my mobile? (Hmmm, maybe first buy a bigger SDcard) How do I make a shortcut, I have the program 'freespace' but I want it into my programslist. And I downloaded a Nes emulator, but when I load a Rom file, it crashes. And last one: Is the only way to have cool ringtones, by WAV? Cause these files take more space then when I convert an MP3 to WMA. Well, that's it, Best Regards, Alfons
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted September 4, 2003 Report Posted September 4, 2003 The movies problem could be down to the compresion ratio or lack of free memory on the phone. Shortcut Open activsync and explore to find the app, reight click copy then go to IPSMWindowsStart Menu right click again Paste Shortcut. The Nes emulator not all roms work, that's down to whoever converted them. Finally Only .wav and midi0 are compatable for ringtones.

Browse the smartphone while it is connected to your pc by opening activesync, then click on 'explore'. Locate 'freespace', right-click it, choose 'create shortcut'. move this shortcut to ipsmwindowsstart menuaccessories And I downloaded a Nes emulator, but when I load a Rom file, it crashes. probably a bad rom, try another one :) And last one: Is the only way to have cool ringtones, by WAV? Guest JeckeL Posted September 4, 2003 Report Posted September 4, 2003 Well, I've been looking very long for these good roms, but it keeps on crashing:( EDIT awarner please read site rules before posting, thanks Best Regards, Alfons
Guest shareef Posted September 4, 2003 Report Posted September 4, 2003 it is illegal to post roms or links to them.. they are out there, you just need to look for them :) make sure you have the proper emulator, go to monolithix's site and download the emulator from there..
Guest Ewok Posted September 9, 2003 Report Posted September 9, 2003 In order for the Emulator to work you might need to put the .exe with the roms. I had the same problem and thats how I solved it.
