Guest Ping512 Posted September 5, 2003 Report Posted September 5, 2003 I have an SPVx (Qtek 7070 tanager) I drop wav & midi files into the Windows directory and then choose these new files as a ringtone/alert etc and it works fine until I power off the device. Upon powering back up the files are gone and the ringers are set back to default...every single time
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted September 5, 2003 Report Posted September 5, 2003 Welcome to the site :) That's because Ringtones need to be put in IPSMApplication DataSounds If you don't have a folder called Sounds create one. Make sure it has the capital S. The Main Windows folder gets re-written on every start-up that's why they were being deleted.
