Rumours Of SPV3..hmm

i just heard from my brother up in Leeds , he found a very small article in Stuff Magazine about the release date of the SPV3 ( march apparently ..)

i was a bit dodgey on hearing this , so i ventured out ot get my own copy.. but i couldnt find one .

He says, its going to be a 3g phone, and may not be called a SPV3 ..

could any please say something about this if they own this months copy of Stuff Magazine.

cant see nothing about SPV3. i dont think there will be any confirmation yet as orange havent said much about the SPV2.

and i doubt stuff will get the scoop there normally behind compared to the internet---they havent even mentioned SPV2 yet.

Orange will be opening a 3G network but i dont know when.

Oh and looking for that article they now say the SPVE100 has ''horrible little keys'' bloody hell they change there mind quick.

1. Battery Life

2. Processor speed (SPV2 uses same processor as SPV / SPV E-100)

3. Items one and two are at odds with each other!!!

More RAM, better camera, lighter weight, smaller size.

Again, most of these are at odds with each other, but hey, they're improvements.

Also, what about including WiFi? Making it a UMTS/3G phone would be nice.

yeh all of that would be nice.. *dreams* but think of the cost ( says the student.. ) ..

if they could get the battery down to a smaller size, making the phone smaller.. and keep life up .. thatd be too good

Yeah, I quite agree. All I was doing was responding to v_patel1, who asked what could be improved. I'd never expect them to actually make the SPV3 as descibed.

I've already spent over £400 on SPVs, having broken my first one by taking it apart and damaging the screen.....and I'm a student too.

No specifics yet, but deinfaltely faster than the original SPV/e100's have now.

One could asume that they would use the 200mhz processor that the Mitac uses as it has already proven to be useable in a phone.
