Guest morpheus2702 Posted September 5, 2003 Report Posted September 5, 2003 Ok it had to happen - jeans in the washing machine, SPV camera in said jeans, jeans in washing machine on no.4 cycle for two hours. I've fished the camera out, it still functions but the picture is understandably blurry (still some moisture slushing about in the lens). Aside from letting it dry out, any bright ideas to help restore my beautifully-smelling camera?
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted September 5, 2003 Report Posted September 5, 2003 You are the second person to do this :) Leave the camera in a warm dry place for a few days to dry out.
Guest cpt_andy Posted September 6, 2003 Report Posted September 6, 2003 The camera does open up very easily - just unclip the two halves. This may allow it to dry faster. You can remove a couple of screws to get to the lens/ccd. Cpt. Andy
