Has anyone seen him recently?

He's looking a little 'chunky'. I think he's been eating lots of cake to put on some fat for this stunt of his.

Only water you say...?

Water's clear - but so is glucose. I'd like to see him distill any water before he drinks it!

He's mental.

After his stunt he's going to be "rushed into Hospital" so he can be checked out and start recovering.

If only everyone who acted like a child doing silly tricks got bumped to the top of the NHS waiting lists!

Thing is with all this hype people forget his background as an illusionist.

Posted from my SmartPhone! so is that really him in the box? Or is anyone in the box?

Drove past him today, tower bridge was packed. Can't really see how he is going to pull it off.

The thing that makes me suspicious is the sort of white sheet at the back of the box.

There's probably 1000 mars bars under it.

Wandered down to have a peer at about 10/11pm yesterday.

David was asleep in his box, bless him.

Then Tower Bridge went up to let some ships through.

They shone a light on him and sounded their foghorn at him.

He woke up looking excessively bleary and somewhat pissed off, waved at the cheering/jeering crowd and then turned hte other way and went to sleep.

And the ships kept a horning. Hehe.

I've been living abroad for the past month or so, so I havent heard about this new stunt he's pulling...

I gather he's doing his old 'sit on top of something tall for a while' trick. :?

I think some of his stuff is fantastic - particularly the levitation thing...

he's a great illustionist, but I like the 'street magic' that he does better than these big events - it's more 'believable'

What I dont understand is that he was buried underground for 7 days with just water yeh, he was then rushed to Hospital immediatly after (another one of those babies getting kicked off the top spot i guess) and was supposedly treated for all kinds of things. So, can someone tell me how in Gods name is he going to last a maximum of 44 days ? Awarners right, he is an illusionist, and if this IS a trick - i believe he will EXCEED 44 days and suprise everyone, maybe coming out after 53 days so that it doesnt look to fake...or is it?

Unfortunately i knew the method behind the "leviation" before i first saw him. Still impressive, and at least his stuff is more original than dis/reappearing various monuments...

yeah David's a great illusionist but not too sure about these stunts :?

He reckons its to test his self endurance - i reckon its the money :)

ok went down there, to see for meself.

Had a couple of thoughts:

Is it a projection of some sort (disproved)

- when the fight broke out, he literally jumped up and the box swayed, and the fight was NOT staged, as they would have controlled the language a bit better.

Is he drinking glucose? )no evidence)

The bottle he had in the box was already open.

Is he eating stuff put inside his jumpers? (maybe)

He took a long time to pull a jumper over his head.

Is he mad or sad? (both)

Hope he's making money!!

And his GF, is very nice.. (she was sitting below the box)

ive read he's going to make £5 million out of the television rights...

i think it would be very easy for glucose and vitamins to be dissolved in the water, i have no doubt he is in the box, but the way he hyped it, like"no human contact for 44 days" is utter rubbish, when i saw him live on This Morning, he was talking to people and writing notes to his girfriend. so if they are feeding him nutriants through the water then it is now where near as difficult (or impressive) as he makes out.

I guess we'll find out in a few weeks by just how much weight he has lost (by 44 days you start to digest your own muscle tissue).

I heard people were waving bacon sandwiches at him yesterday, just what you need when you are starving to death.

We're thinking of taking some paintball guns up there and painting his little glass cubicle

A few shots at random intervals through the night should keep him on his toes!

Was a page in the Daily Express ( - not my paper!) about him today, apparently there's a Hot Dog stand near his box and the smell spreads fast - he was craving "onions"...

At 4am four teenage girls stripped to their underwear and attempted to catch Blaine's attention by running around underneath his perspex box.

The magician, however, failed to wake up and security guards chased the girls away

Guys, be sure to check the TV tonight as I get into my glass box in Milton Keynes
