upgraded to ROM 1.5

i upgraded from rom version 1.3.7.8, to 1.50. funny thing is, i DID NOT lose my contacts, my calendat inputs and the applications i installed. i went to SETTINGSABOUT and its stated that my rom is indeed 1.5 already.is it really like this, or is it just me?

I haven't upgraded to 1.5 (yet...) but from some posts that I have read it seems that some people run into problems with their phone not working correctly after they upgrade and do not erase IPSM. Then... after they erase IPSM their phone works fine, but now they have to put all the data/programs back on...

Upgrading from SAP 1.3 to SAP 1.5 doesn't erase the IPSM.... but if you upgrade to QTEK or Imate, everything will be erased.

I was using my upgraded SAP (from 1.3 to 1.5 w/o erasing IPSM) for several months and i didn't had that problem.

be reminded that the Smart 1.50 rom is not advisable if you have a previously sim-unlocked phone or if you plan to sim-unlock your phone.....according to some members here, it sim-locked their phones to the Smart network and it will give you a headache unlocking it again
