Guest IanD Posted December 15, 2002 Report Posted December 15, 2002 Hi everybody, new user experiencing a slight problem.... Decided to change a few settings etc.. (eventually because I plan to connect and synchrone with GoldMine) and I deleted my Partnership. Now my system (XP Professional) will not recognize that the phone is connected. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling ActiveSync, no difference. Anybody experienced this or know of a 'soft reset' for the SPV? TIA Ian
Guest madu Posted December 15, 2002 Report Posted December 15, 2002 Try disconnecting and reconnecting the the usb cable, had similar proble to that (on XP pro) and this seemed to solve it
Guest chewie Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 Hey ianD i sort of had the same problem, one day when i came to activsync my phone, the PC wouldnt recognize it. This also happened on my home PC. I still cant get the bloody thing working, and orange help haven't got a clue! If u find a way to sort it out, could you give me a PM Please? Oh and if i EVER get it working again, i'll tell you how i did it!

P yeah i did, the only thing i havent tried is the long winded resolution for when you have connecteed the cradle before installing activsync! I think i will have to try it today, if that doesnt work, The PC is going out the window :D
