Guest luwity Posted September 9, 2003 Report Posted September 9, 2003 about two weeks ago, i visited virramall and brand new ranges from 14.5K to 16K. for 2nd hand units, i saw one booth selling the unit only (no cable, no camera) at 9.5K. all prices are negotiable as always is in greenhils. fyi

Can you at least give us a tip on how to determine if the SAP sold in GH are indeed brand new or refurbished only (or 2nd hand that looks like brand new)? Also are the SAPs in GH sold with 1 year warranty from Smart? If the units were not from Smart naman, ilang months ang warranty? Pag nasira ba pwede ipaayos sa Brightpoint or kayo na lang ang nag-aayos? thanks
Guest grifter Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 @Dino, I once asked a seller in GH, sabi niya may 1 yr warranty with SMART. I checked it out and may warranty seal pa. I guess It's either may kilala sila sa SMART so they can get lotsa units or direct import from HTC. I saw a stall that had about 10 brand new, boxed SAP units being delivered to them!

Pwede kaya natin itanong sa Smart kung yung mga nasa GH may warranty din sa kanila? Kase madali namang sabihin na may warranty pero pag dinala na natin sa Smart or BP for repair, baka hindi nila tanggapin at hindi pala nila i-recognized yung warranty. I was thinking kase na bakit sa Smart ang prepaid SAP costs about P20K pa pero sa GH P15K lang? So papayag kaya ang Smart na bigyan ng warranty yung binibili sa GH na mas mura kung magbenta sa kanila? Maganda naman kase ang presyo sa GH mura eh syempre doon tayo sa mura but of course we also need to consider the warranty :) Any comment on this, spv_dman? ;) How about yung 2nd hand sa GH, may warranty pa ba kahit konti? Sa Brightpoint din pwede ipa-repair?

Most likely pag tinanong mo sa SMART sabihin nila alang warranty kasi you did not get the unit from an authorized dealer. Pero kung underground nila nakuha yung mga units, baka lulusot pa rin sa warranty. I don't think much about it since I am not planning of getting an HTC product for a looooong while. :)

Kung BP lang, magtatayo nalang ako ng sariling service center at papa-accredit nalang ako sa HTC or whatever. Kaya nga hintay ko yung Moto na Smartphone e. At least SMARTNET ang authorized service center for Moto and SMARTNET has really good service.

Guest jerome_vertex Posted September 14, 2003 Report Posted September 14, 2003 ung depende sa source nung store , with me kse i get it from a direct source sa smart medyo madugo kse u have to get this certain number of unit para may disc ka kya wat i do is ask ako sa mga networks ko kung cno ung may kailangan so far all units he gives me naman has 1yr waranty sumtyms when he get generous hindi na nila inaayos lalo na pag sakanya ko dinala uli ung unit pinapalitan nalang nya nang bago ganun!
