@jerome

here you said your source is from Smart, but on the other thread you said he's from abroad :shock:

http://smartphone.modaco.com/viewtopic.php...p=289151#289151

If so, then may recibo ba ng Smart pag bumili ng unit sayo? Kse kelangan yata yun pag dinala mo sa Smart for repair/ replacement :)

you see, madali lang kse bumili ng phone, pero nowadays importante ang warranty i-consider everytime we buy things :wink:

Hmmm okay pala. Lahat ba may 1 year warranty?

Maganda naman kase ang presyo sa GH mura eh syempre doon tayo sa mura but of course we also need to consider the warranty  :)

Any comment on this, spv_dman?  ;)

How about yung 2nd hand sa GH, may warranty pa ba kahit konti? Sa Brightpoint din pwede ipa-repair?

If you want to buy SP from GH you still have 1 year warranty provided you bought it from authorized dealer of SMART. Sa tingin ko the price of 15k sa GH is not smart warranty unit, but instead it is only a store warranty..... If you want to claim for a warranty in smart they will ask you the OR then they will check it to the system if the imei is valid in the system kaya makita talaga lahat kaya mahirap makalusot.

They can check for valid IMEI. Ganon din sa SMARTNET remember?

as for mga pinuslit na units, may nabili kasi kaming digicam dati, almost half-price from SRP. yun pala, pinuslit lang sa factory at hindi valid yung serial number.

the IMEI code is on the sticker at the back of the phone. And yes, they turn your phone on after they service it. I enabled device lock when I brought my unit to BP and they asked me to unlock the phone before they released it. I asked why and they said they have to do diagnostics pa daw.
