why can't I make clock go big?

I tried to make my clock plugin display big - like size=40 (or something), but couldn't make it any bigger than 15. :cry:

How's that then?? The plugin height is 29?? :x

ASnybody help a dunce in distress? :)

You need to change the font size as well as the plugin height

I have tried everything - pills. ointments, special tantric rubbing techniques - but I still can't make my CLOCK any bigger!! :) ;)

Can't somebody help - I'm afraid my wife will leave me for someone with a bigger CLOCK!!! :D :lol:

Are you trying to do something like this?

This homescreen has a clock with a height of 40, no MRU list, and the usual "hiden until used" plug-ins.

Anyhoo - cheers mattkirby, but that doesnt really help me. The xml you posted just has the plugin height set to 40 & the font size set to 40. That's pretty much what I've done, but the clock still stays at 15 max. :x

Does my xml work on your handset? Or does the clock in my homescreen appear smaller than it does in the screen-shot?

It's weird that it's not working for you, once you have set the plug-in height and font size it should work.

Anyone else got any ideas???????????

i think the default font size in the xml is being used, are you sure your font size tags are in the correct syntax?

Mmm... interesting about the default font size. All my other plugins have got font sizes in them, so can I just do away with the default??

i'm guessing you can remove the default flag,

Syntax i mean you got font-size not fontsize or some other missspell

a lot of people have a default set up and forget it kicks in if they have a selectable or active plugin, and wonder why everything changes sizes.

Ok - got the syntax thing - and lo & behold, I had left out a font from font-size!! :oops:

I love xml - the answer to my questions is usually embarassingly obvious!
