SPV wins Pub Quiz!

I've just been down my local for a pub quiz. Our team was 2nd to last when I took out my Tanager :wink:

Got to the song lyric round, and although we were doing pretty well anyway on this round, I "Googled" for the ones we didn't know, and came up with three answers, getting us full marks :)

Then came the final round, again music, but this time we had to listen to to a song, and name the artist. Again we were quite good at this round, but there were about four we wern't sure of :? Hit 2580 on my phone, and "Shazam" came up with the answers 8)

We played our joker on the last round, and so doubled our points :shock: meaning 19 out of 20 earned us 38 points ;)

Would you believe it, we came from 2nd last, to first position 8), and won 20 quid, all 'cos of my phone :D

In the morning, I'll feel a bit guilty, but at the moment, I'm too pis*ed to care :oops:

God I love this phone :lol:

I wouldn't have cared if it cost me 20 quid to win :shock: all my team members thought my phone was ace ( I don't think they realised that anyone can use Shazam :wink: ) and the rest of the pub couldn't believe we came from nowhere to win :shock:

By the way, the quizmaster gave me plenty of time to search on Google for a few answers, not like you at the MoDaCo meet :wink: You didn't even pause for breath between questions :!:
