Problems with SPV not ringing

Has anyone else had problems recving calls. The person dialing hears a ringing tone but the phone doesnt ring or even acknowledge there is an incoming call. Its not a signal strength issue because I can still dial out ok.

I have missed countless calls when this happens, the only resolution seems to be turning the phone off and on again. Orange seem to think its a cell transmitter prob, but Ive never heard of this before. Is my phone faulty? Also, I seem to get days when Im not notified of any answer messages. Considering these 2 problems, Im rapidly lossing the plot with this phone, and considering dumping it. Whats the point of a phone that sometimes doesnt ring or tell you of an answer message!! pretty basic stuff I think. Any ideas....? Otherwise SPV is in the bin

Try a search, I'm sure somebody else had the "no ring" problem.

I dont know if they got an offical Orange answer, but I think the MoDaCo consensus was that it was a faulty handset that should be fixed/replaced under warranty (not Care)
