Saving SMS in orneta (or any similar program)

I have heard that in Orneta Notepad, you can send SMS straight from it. Will it therefore save the send and received SMS messages in a different directory to where they would be saved otherwise? If so, is it possible to save this directory onto the storage card somehow?

If orneta notepad doesn't do this, would any other application save SMS messages to the storage card (or make it possible to regularly transfer SMS from the IPSM to storage card??)

orneta notepad doesnt automatically save the message however, its easy to save a message on your storage card before you send the message.
