Guest mathew.jones Posted September 9, 2003 Report Posted September 9, 2003 Is there a way of turning off the flashing light as I know when my phone is on:-) Mathew Jones (New to the site but have been told great things alredy)
Guest cpt_andy Posted September 9, 2003 Report Posted September 9, 2003 The flashing light is actually telling you that you have a signal - turning the radio off shuts it off. I don't believe there is a way of disabling it for normal use though. A small piece of masking tape perhaps? :) Andy
Guest squall Posted September 9, 2003 Report Posted September 9, 2003 erm turning radio off doesnt stop the led from flashing. the led indicated different battery states, and i think changes with missed calls and messages. Its also supposed to be a way of telling if your phone is on when the screen is off.
Guest Simon Desser Posted September 9, 2003 Report Posted September 9, 2003 erm turning radio off doesnt stop the led from flashing  It sure does :?
Guest siu99spj Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 erm turning radio off doesnt stop the led from flashing. It does here! the led indicated different battery states, Yep, yellow flashing for low, red flashing for critical. Red solid for charging (But too low for turning on), yellow solid for charging and green solid for charged completely. and i think changes with missed calls and messages. Doesn't seem to change for me, just keeps its monotonous flash going. Its also supposed to be a way of telling if your phone is on when the screen is off. Thats true enough I suppose, those you always seem to have to wait for AGES when you want it to flash! Probably the age old 'A watched pot never boils' syndrome.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 I think it does :? I've watched quite a few posts when cooking and they always boil unless I forget to turn the hob on :)
Guest Lordsmiff Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 I'm imaginging you having a laptop next to your cooker so you can keep an eye on the modaco forums for new posts... But i've clicked now ;-) T.
