Help! Please! Is It Just My Mio? Or Is Everyone?

Hi... Sorry to be a n00b...

But, I want to know if it is just my Mio 8380 or is everyone elses have very bad reception...

Like I mean the other end always say they can hear me... Im too quiet or something... and does anyone notice that the Front LCD always say you have great signal but when you flip to the Main LCD you see like only 1 bar of reception?

I want to know if it is only me or is there supposed to be a fix? or patch or something like that to tweak my Mio?

Where are you and what carrier do you subscribe to?

As far as the bars...the LCD bars don't seem to be correct....trust the inner bars on the main screen. But the battery on the LCD seems correct.

I am located in Ontario, using Rogers Network... and I find it horrible... >_

I think the mic is no sensetive enuf?

I am using my Mio with T-Mobile in NYC and cell wise it's so far better than the SPV I owned.

Strangly enough the LCD bars almost always show 'full' while the screen bars show the real situation. I agree, trust the Smartphone OS bars, not the external Mio addition.

I am using the Mio with T-Mobile in Denver, Colorado and the reception is as good as any GSM phone I have tried so far.

Mio display's Signal Strength Indicator has two states only:

Signal Present, No Signal

my reception problems are really p*****g me off. my nokia 7650 had great reception.....my 8380 is awful....
