Microsoft's claim that Smartphone does not support VBCE/MFC mean nothing....

They must figure both are inappropriate for a "phone", and don't encourage their use... :)

MFC programs will work as long as the appropriate runtimes are on the device. For VB, I doubt it is any different. Either install them manually or from a cab file. If it installs them to Windows, move the runtimes to flash and modify the registry to point to their new locations. From there, it would just be a matter of making your VB app adhere to Smartphone guidelines. I have yet to try this myself though...
