Guest mcwarre Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 I don't know if this is a first but it is new to me thought you might be interested. Dual SIM here Cool 8)
Guest Richie M Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 Hmmm i cant see how that would work :? And i would fancy cutting up my SIM cards
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 Pretty cool, but pretty dodgy. Incidentally, I believe your SIM card remains the property of the network, so cutting it up might not be a good idea :) P
Guest Brody Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 Its a good idea but i'd never cut up my sim, far too risky in my eyes!
Guest mcwarre Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 Hmmm i cant see how that would work :?Same as normal dual SIM, I would *assume* And i would fancy cutting up my SIM cards  I have a few older gash PAYG SIMS if only it were less than £35 I would give it a go :) ;) :D
Guest vijay555 Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 Nice idea: looks dodgy, but seems nice. I made a twin sim yesterday, ordered a cheap one from m99 for £2.95, and reshaped it down to about 3cm x 3cm, and can tape it onto the back of the phone. Not the most elegant solution, but it works. Guest dewslat Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 i got this nokia dual sim from my 3310.. can i use this? is there some appz for a quick reset or network chooser? it now looks bulk so i plan to solder-melt(not a good idea but its worth it.. :) some parts of my bat pack..
Guest futaris Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 I'm pretty sure that those Dual SIM holders don't work with the XDA, and probably won't work with the SPV / SPVx. :) It's seems to be same as the one shown at: http://www.myglobe.com.sg/product/2in1sim/...onesupport.html http://www.myglobe.com.sg/product/2in1sim/...simsupport.html http://www.myglobe.com.sg/product/2in1sim/...minstall1a.html Has anyone actually tried it with their SPV?
Guest futaris Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 You should also be able to switch SIMs by turning Airplane Mode On & Off.
