Just wondering after I installed this homescreen and removed it I am short of memory, less than when I installed it.

Have been through folders and all seems removed.

Noticed a couple of 1.65 mb files in windows directory that seem to have either been created or modded at the same time I installed the theme and not sure if these are supposed to be there, they are called

MsgQueueDataFileMicrosoft WDP SMS Protocol

MsgQueueDataFileMicrosoft WCMP SMS Protocol

MsgQueueDataFileMicrosoft Text SMS Protocol

MsgQueueDataFileMicrosoft Status Message SMS Protocol (Receive Only)

MsgQueueDataFileMicrosoft Raw SMS Protocol (Receive Only)

MsgQueueDataFileMicrosoft Notification SMS Protocol (Receive Only)

MsgQueueDataFileMicrosoft Broadcast Message SMS Protocol (Receive Only)

Thats seven files at 1.65mb each = lot of memory space

Please let me now if these are correct.

Thanks

:)

Yes m8, they are supposed to be there and are nothing to do with the homescreen, surprisingly they are to do with text messages

The file sizes are also mis reported on these files, dont know why - but if you do a search on MsgQueueDataFile i'm sure you'll find the thread ;)

As for you having less memory after uninstalling M5 there is no specific reason for this as the phones uninstaller should clean up after it self :? try rebooting the phone, that should free up memory :D
