help please

my phone's just stopped working- locks up at the orange startup screen - it's been working fine. and i'm going away tomorrow and need it to start up at least. haven't got all the software backed up on my computer yet.

uh oh! panic time! first thing to try is to leave on the screen for a while, (10 mins max) sometimes the phone resets itself and takes forever to restart!

otherwise you may need to do a Hard Reset, sorry :)

looks like you're right - nothing else is working. it seems that i'll have to do my first hard reset - thanks for the link on how to do it.

ok - it says passed on hard reset - but then i go left 2 times and click on 3 and it does nothing - i keep selecting 3 with no luck of getting to canary screen - what am i doing wrong

Just press and hold the power button :)

Newer Bootloaders do not have the End option.
