Self signed certificates & Smartphones

Does anybody know in detail how to install a private certificate authority on a Smartphone 2002/2003 ? All that we found about this topic was that rapiconfig needs to be used - but we didn't find any specific information about how rapiconfig should be used, except the example file in the SDK...

Microsoft's knowledge database didn't give us much help as well ...

Anyway, any replies are very welcome.
