MiTac Mio 8380 Questions

Hope somebody can answer my questions regarding the MiTac Mio 8380:

1. Can I install the ROMs for the SPVx to the Mio (QTek, Smart, Orange, EuroTel, etc.)?

2. Will the softwares for the SPVx work on the Mio?

3. How about the skins?

4. Is there an option where I can restore the Mio to its factory default settings after I install softwares?

1) NO

2) NO (unless you app unlock) - even signed apps will not work on a locked mio

3) homescreens are fine, advanced skins.. don't know... try it!!

4) yes, i'm sure someone will provide the info!!

2. just to clarify: Most spv software will work if you remove the app lock. search the forum for more info

Why would you want to?

2. Will the softwares for the SPVx work on the Mio?

From experience...all work as far as I can tel...on an application-unlocked phone

4. Is there an option where I can restore the Mio to its factory default settings after I install softwares?

To Hard Reset the Mitac....Turn off the phone. Hold the record button down. Press the power button. After the mitc animation...release the record button. Instant fresh phone!

My MiTac Mio keeps on hanging whenever I get a message (50% of the time). It also hangs when I get multiple messages. Any suggestions?

How do we save mail attachments on mio?????

And how we attach files or photos to be sent via email???

I searched the options but did not find anything related!

IA album, will allow you to send photo attachments. If you download smartexplorer from http://www.binarys.com/smartphone/default_en.asp you can send files as email attachments.
