Guest Michael Stone Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 I am a newb and have a new unlocked E100 running on the AT&T network, does anyone have any information on how to set up GPRS, Internet access? Any help would be appreciated.
Guest jctune Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 Michael, It definitely works for browsing the internet. The only thing we haven't figured out how to get to is AT&T's proprietary mMode content. Settings are here - http://smartphone.modaco.com/viewtopic.php...hlight=att+gprs
Guest martin Posted September 17, 2003 Report Posted September 17, 2003 Hi guys I haven't heard of anyone using mMode but you could try adding the proxy. I suspect there is only one APN for GPRS data connection. If mMode page fails then try installing the program WebWapSelect as this program is required to access the T-mobile WAP homepage. I haven't heard of anyone using mMode on the SPV yet so good luck. Guest jctune Posted September 18, 2003 Report Posted September 18, 2003 Actually, I'm fairly excited that ATT is going to be carrying the Motorola. This means we can go look at the settings and hopefully get mMode to work.
Guest dwlewisii Posted December 12, 2003 Report Posted December 12, 2003 For those interested, I am able to access all mMode on the e100
