Guest Chunk Mcfunk Posted September 17, 2003 Report Posted September 17, 2003 i copied a wav file to my windows folder, its 800 bytes... but after a while when i install other stuff it dissapears?? is there a way of making the spv e100 look at thre storage card to select a ringtone instead of having to move it to the windows folder..?? and can i prevent the phone from deleting the file??
Guest Chunk Mcfunk Posted September 17, 2003 Report Posted September 17, 2003 sorry its 800k not bytes!!!!
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted September 17, 2003 Report Posted September 17, 2003 The windows folder is re-written everytime you boot your phone! Ringtones go here: IPSM // Application Data // Sounds Of you can use the program Smart Tones - and place the ringers on your SD Card
Guest Chunk Mcfunk Posted September 17, 2003 Report Posted September 17, 2003 cheers for that, but i dont have a sounds folder in my application folder, do i just create one?
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted September 17, 2003 Report Posted September 17, 2003 Oh yeah sorry .. if the folder isn't there! Make it yourself  (with a capital S) .. Sounds Right .. that should do it! (Oh and again, if your phone is software unlocked - Smart Tones is a great program. You'll save a lot of room on your phone by storing the sounds on your SD Card .. unless you don't have one of those *pom pie dom*)
Guest Chunk Mcfunk Posted September 17, 2003 Report Posted September 17, 2003 cheers for that!!! its worked,, got a link for to download sharttones ;-)
