ANd not the two in your head that help you see. ;) Eyeball- a filipino colloquial is a get together of people who've only met on the internet, such such as chat room members, forum posters, etc probably derived as from the American verb eyeball meaning "to see" as in "He'd like to eyeball the house before buying it". the term is usually shorten to "EB". this has been in used in the philippines for several yearsbefore the advent of webcams, sorry if we are ruining her majesty's english. :D

Guest Coucou Posted September 18, 2003 Report Posted September 18, 2003 My latest English dictionary includes lots of words from 'world English' recognising that as the worlds most widely spoken language it varies quite a lot from place to place. Pidgin English from africa is really weird! So don't worry, it's not really the Queen's any more. And encece, not many people have the same accent as the queen! She can rhyme 'house' with 'mice'.
