Phone cannot ring or make calls!

i have just bought a orange spv and when inserting my orange simcard which is pay as you go, the opertaing system loads up and says Network Denied, Searching. Everthing else works perfectly apart from allowing me to make calls.

Could someone tell me what the problem is and how i can fix it.

does the sim card work in another phone? it sounds like its blocked.

when i go to sim manager it just goes through a loading process and does not display my phone number.

i suggest you try the sim in another phone mate, that way we can be sure if its the sim that is causing the problem

i have just tested the sim card in another phone, with a message appearing not registered and not allowing me to make call like my spv.

The good new is thats its the SIM and not your phone ;)

You may have to register the PAYT SIM with Orange CS and put some credit on on it. Have you already done this ?

The online registration at http://www.orange.co.uk/payasyougo/registration/ is temporary unavailable so try calling 0800 079006 from another phone.

Make sure you have the SIM and IMEI numbers before calling.

martin nearly right mate 08000790006 you just missed of 1 0 but whats a 0 between modaco users :wink:
