and let's not forget sonic the hedgehog !

there are a few different emu's for the PPC for this ... I would suggest contacting their developers and asking for a smartphone port ...

CPU couldnt cope with it though, it struggles with GB emu :?

could probably handle master system... not much more powerful than the nes

remember it's not just the speed of the processor, it's also the hardware that's in there

the Sega systems had some pretty special chips in them

emulation is possible, but speed will always be an issue as an emulator takes FAR more processing power than the system it is emulating

would the new moto mpx be able to play it near actual speed. if gamegear as well.

Hey, what about Virtua Cop!

Can the SPV screens handle light-guns?

But it is quality and weird to play sonic with the mario character!

I couldn't think of any thing better to play on my spv than Streets of Rage 2, Gun Star Heros and ristar.

PLEASE somebody make a Sega Emu.I couldn't think of any thing better to play on my spv than Streets of Rage 2, Gun Star Heros and ristar.

PLEASE somebody try and make a Sega Emu, even if it runs that little slow.

If you could get an emulator working fast enough to make sonic run. It would be a great step in the defeat of so called smart phones like the N-Gage!!

Masssive reason to disuade people from buying competitor phones and may get more developers interested in the smartphone platform.

Also what is the conclusion for the speed of the mpx at running already released emulators like GNUBoy etc? is there a speed increase?

much faster in fact it runs gbc roms at full speed. rayman is the best game ever.

hey goiin nuts have you actually played gnuboy on a mpx. On my mpx gnuboy ran really slow and poor. I decided to uninstall it because of this. The smartnes program runs perfect though :)

yes i have the mpx, make sure you have lots of free space on your phone (i have 7.2mb) and you have no other apps running in the background. i recommend binarys task manager for this. if you try this you should notice significant speed increase.
