Its a $9.99 Smartface.

No thanks I'll stick to Smartface.

You have do all the work yourself (Creating the images)

So why pay an established company for something thats readly available free.

is there a free app or a tweak that lets you assign different tones for dif contacts.

For a list of bugs and problems that I've found with Identify, take a look at http://smartphone.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=91232. Unfortunately I believe there are too many problems with this software for it to be released commercially. A beta release would be a good idea first.

There is a free application - it's in the basic Smartphone OS. Try editing a contact's details, and you will be able to select a different ring tone for each contact.

I dunno... been using Smartface for months now..

Can you make your own HTML screen that shows when someone calls with Smartface ? I DONT THINK SO

This rocks.. and who cares about $10... that only buys you 3 beers here anyway ! ;)

Custom Ringtones for different contacts from SD card ringtones. Try this:

"To set up the Custom Ringtones for contacts edit:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER

ControlPanel

SoundCategories

Ring

Directory

and change the value data to the directory of your ringtones

eg. Storage CardRingtones

then reboot. Now if you go to Contacts - Custom Ringtone, every ringtone in your selected directory is available"

Nice, jamiesh, didn't know it was possible to change the root directory for ringtones. A very good hack!
