Guest seteo-bloke Posted September 19, 2003 Report Posted September 19, 2003 Hi guys, I've only just got myself a E100 so be gentle!. :D I've got the PocketNES to work great, but for some reason I can't get the Gnuboy to run. I click it and I just get a constant white screen, just seems to crash. Anyone got any ideas on this?. Thanks in advance!. ;)
Guest blewer Posted September 19, 2003 Report Posted September 19, 2003 Welcome to the site ;) Try pressing the record button, this controls some emulators

Guest MoRFLeZ Posted September 20, 2003 Report Posted September 20, 2003 There needs to be at least one rom in the same directory as gnuboy.exe If it gets "stuck" press the home-button .. start up Task Manager and "kill the gnuboy process"
Guest spacemonkey Posted September 20, 2003 Report Posted September 20, 2003 Yep, you'r blank white screen is cos it's not finding any roms They must be name *.gb* and in the exact same directory as the gnuboy.exe. If you think you have this right, also check that on your start menu it is a shortcut to the exe and not a whole copy of the exe. When it comes up with this blank list pressing the action button (middle of the joypad) should select no rom and gnuboy will exit. Hope that solves the problem... I spose I should really put a "No ROMs found" message in there...
Guest pointblanc Posted September 22, 2003 Report Posted September 22, 2003 guys, is it my settings or Gnuboy is just too slow, I tried playing my bomberman blue gba, but it's too slow. I even set the frameskip to 10frames/sec. but to no avail. Help pls!!!!!!!!!!

Guest spacemonkey Posted September 22, 2003 Report Posted September 22, 2003 Gnuboy runs real nice for rpg style games like Dragon Warriors, Zelda and Pokemon. Action games are not so hot... hopefully much more playable on next generation devices such as the Mio or Motorola, or SPV2 with faster processors.
