Guest Martin@Home Posted September 19, 2003 Report Posted September 19, 2003 Its now 12 minutes past midnight. Have just set the phone alarm to go off at 05:50 to get me up for work in the morning and put the phone on its cradle to charge and syncronise with my pc. As soon as active-sync connects to the phone, the time jumps forward eight hours on the phone (08:12 at the time of writing) and immediately sets the alarm off ! :? My first thought was that the phone was re-setting the time to match the PC..... But the pc system clock is showing perfect time :? Its happened three times on the trot now.... Take the phone back off the cradle, dismiss the alarm, reset the proper time and replace in cradle... Time immediately jumps eight hours which sets the alarm off etc etc etc Anybody ?
Guest beersoft Posted September 19, 2003 Report Posted September 19, 2003 its the time zone on either the pc or the phone is set to usa/pacific, it might be the pc breaking things later Owen sorry about the spelling, its friday and im sober ;)
