Too simple probably.

I ashamedly :oops: admit I have been using the 'Full layout' home screen and about the only thing I would like to change is to add date and day of the week to the line wastefully displaying time only.

I know, I know, I am probably one of the very few people who forget what day of the week it is, but hey, I'll admit it, I'm not proud.

Could any of the skin writers here be so kind and offer the xml edit (must be simple) that does this to the original "Full layout" home page xml?

Customising the XML in homescreen layouts is very simple. Take a look at this link for a run down on the basics:

Then find a skin that has a weekday displayed and take a look at the xml used in it.
