Guest chibako Posted September 23, 2003 Report Posted September 23, 2003 i've just made this thread to all of you guys/gals... HTH ;) the LINK... yung masterpiece ni BrAGoL! nice work! :D pinoy na pinoy! hehehe!
Guest BrAGoL Posted September 23, 2003 Report Posted September 23, 2003 hehehe... proud to be Pinoy!;)
Guest adi116 Posted September 23, 2003 Report Posted September 23, 2003 pare, nare-reach mo ba ang 100% charging? sabi kasi ni carlo yung retractable usb charger daw up to 80% lang.
Guest BrAGoL Posted September 23, 2003 Report Posted September 23, 2003 yep!
Guest chibako Posted September 23, 2003 Report Posted September 23, 2003 this is much cheaper than buying a retractable usb cable!? :D intresado din ako! ;) nakakatamad na dalin palagi sa ofc yung ac adaptor e.
Guest BrAGoL Posted September 23, 2003 Report Posted September 23, 2003 @adi116, chibako just let me know if you want to modify your cable... ;)
Guest BrAGoL Posted September 23, 2003 Report Posted September 23, 2003 thank you tutut17! ;) actually, tapos na yun bago pa mag-Makati EB... pinakita ko pa nga sa ibang pumunta dun... gusto ko lang din talaga na maitesting nang todo kung di magloloko... tapos eto nga okay naman! :D
Guest adi116 Posted September 23, 2003 Report Posted September 23, 2003 Oo pare, interesado ako, kaya lang gusto ko mag assemble lang. hanap lang muna ako ng piyesa. jumpers lang ba ang gagawin, wala ng diodes, resistor or other voltage and current controllers na ikakabit gagana na siya? na-measure mo ba kung ano ang pumapasok na current and voltage levels from the usb port? nag-ma-matched ba with the required levels according to SAP specs? pasensya na BrAGoL, dami ko tanong. ganyan talaga ako pag SOBRANG interesado sa isang bagay hehehehe. ;)
Guest BrAGoL Posted September 23, 2003 Report Posted September 23, 2003 what you actually needed are; 4-pins only male header (why 4? para may mapapag-lagyan yung jumper header ko ng ibang pins when the battery are fully charge), jumper header (same as sa mga jumpers ng mga pc cards or pc boards), thin cables, power glue... thats all! ;) the voltage coming out of the USB is +5VDc... current? not yet sure what is the actual current per USB port... but i think it's already discussed on another thread... but surelly, it will not exceed 1A just like the one of our wall charger... with this modification, you'll notice that it takes a little longer time to charge... just a little longer... but it's a minimal aspect... in fact, you barely notice it coz you're also using your PC while doing so... okay lang yung mga tanong mo... ganyan din ako pag may gusto subukan gawin... better to do it the safest way di ba? :D
Guest adi116 Posted September 23, 2003 Report Posted September 23, 2003 So whats next? maganda sana kung meron tayong ma-schedule na workshop, di lang sa pag convert to usb charger pati na rin sa mga gustong mag-upgrade and downgrade ng ROM, unlocking, etc. Kung meron lang sana available place, facilities, and sponsors madali lang sana. kung di naman possible ang workshop pa send na lang ng schematic diagram and detailed step by step instructions. Thanks ulit BrAGoL!;)
Guest binky_p Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 bragol, yang modified sync cable ba non-reversible na? meaning di na gagana yung wall outlet nya? parang retractable usb cable na cya nun?....kasi pano na lang pag napunta akong ibang lugar na walang pc?
Guest elr Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 i also made modification on my usb sync cable.. ;) and it's reversible. u can charge thru usb or wall charger.
Guest binky_p Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 i also made modification on my usb sync cable.. Â ;) Â and it's reversible. u can charge thru usb or wall charger. same modification as with bragol's?
Guest elr Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 Not quite. Bragol made the mod on the SAP's plug. what i did is, i splice the +5v wire along the cable, solder an extension wire with a 2.5mm plug on the other end. plug that to the wall charger jack and charge thru usb. I'll post the pix tonight.
Guest rodnav Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 bragol, yang modified sync cable ba non-reversible na? meaning di na gagana yung wall outlet nya? parang retractable usb cable na cya nun?....kasi pano na lang pag napunta akong ibang lugar na walang pc? you can buy an adapter jack for the AC charger, then you won't be needing the USB cable anymore to charge your phone. they sell it at smart wireless centers, if they have any in stock.
Guest binky_p Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 @elr, cge pare i'll be waiting for your pix..(at sana may kasama schematic ;) ). @rodnav, i'll ask din sa mga smart wireless center kung magkakano yun...then i'll compare. kung magandang i-customize ung charger or much better buy the adapter..
Guest grifter Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 the adapter costs 300 pesos more or less. i'd rather get the retractable sync-charge cable instead.
Guest binky_p Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 the adapter costs 300 pesos more or less. i'd rather get the retractable sync-charge cable instead. tnx for the info...but the problem with the retractable sync-cable is when there is no pc around. that's why bragol and elr's modified cable is much useful...
Guest grifter Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 when there is no pc around, use the USB cable-charger combo that came with your SAP. then use the retractable cable in the office.
