Guest pisquee Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 "Superb SD camera that works in Pocket PC and Palm OS devices - the drivers are already installed on the card." no mention of the smartphone drivers though? hmm You could buy the Motorola camera and use that when it comes out, asuming the drivers are gettable.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 This camera has been discussed before, the phone will not support the device as mentioned above but also the phone's memory would soon be filled as you would have no where else to store the images.
Guest cyrilthefish Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 Ah right, didn't notice it had been mentioned before  As for the storage space you could get round that by taking a few photos, swapping the camera for an SD card and moving the photos accross... fiddly, but it would work
Guest Smart-UP Posted October 1, 2003 Report Posted October 1, 2003 I have tested an SD camera that had 256mb of in built memory and the pictures were saved directly to the camera card , was ok if you did not need random access to the pics but the way the camera mounted on to the PCB made it prone to breaking if flexed so it was canned.
