Guest DMF Posted September 25, 2003 Report Posted September 25, 2003 Wierd one this ..... when i started putting wavs on my phone and testing em, all was good.... I could get a wav to play thru an entire tune. Now, for some unknown reason, it gets about 20 seconds in then ditches the call as MISSED .. anyone know why this is or how i can extend the ring time ?
Guest blewer Posted September 25, 2003 Report Posted September 25, 2003 Try typing **61*07973100123*30# This should delay it for 30 secs Let us know if it works ;) Adam
Guest matth Posted September 25, 2003 Report Posted September 25, 2003 Mine only rings for 17 seconds tops. Always wondered if there's a method of extending the ring. 17 seconds ain't really long enough especially if the phone not within 10 feet of you. is there an option on the answerphone service or is typing the number above the only option ?
Guest yoos Posted September 26, 2003 Report Posted September 26, 2003 Anyone know a way to do this in the USA with T-Mobile? Tried this and it says Invalid Parameters.
Guest DMF Posted September 26, 2003 Report Posted September 26, 2003 blewer - this achieved nothing - sry
Guest clv101 Posted September 28, 2003 Report Posted September 28, 2003 The thing blewer suggested should works for people on Orange in the UK. It's just telling the answer phone to wait 30 secs until picking up the call. You should be able to change the 30 to anything up to 60 I think.
Guest DMF Posted September 28, 2003 Report Posted September 28, 2003 It just says "invalid parameters" unless i put a hash at the front too, then it just says "failed"
Guest blewer Posted September 28, 2003 Report Posted September 28, 2003 Try this **61*07973100123*20# This delays it for 20 secs, I just tried it and worked fine. I also couldn't get 30 secs to work, don't know why it should work up to 30 secs :? Good luck, keep us posted
Guest DMF Posted September 29, 2003 Report Posted September 29, 2003 error ..... could one of the mods be stopping this working ?
Guest DMF Posted September 29, 2003 Report Posted September 29, 2003 buggered if i know then .... phones died anyway .... but it was rining for 20 secs, I was looking to extend that to a min or two. Thx anyway.
Guest Chic0 Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 Right guys, if you want to do this you might have to put your sim in a different phone, type in the code, then put the sim back into your phone. I had to do this with my first SPV. i would still have it today but I sat on it in Fabric nightclub at the weekend and cracked the screen. Anyway, just got my replacement from Orange and once again I had to put my sim into a different phone, type in **61*07973100123*11*30# and press dial, then place my sim back in SPV. Give it a try. C
Guest yoos Posted December 17, 2003 Report Posted December 17, 2003 Sweet! I finally know how to do this on T-Mobile in the USA!! For anyone that wants to do it type the following: **61*18056377243**30# The 30 is where you plug in the seconds you want the ring to go for before voicemail picks up. You can enter 5, 10, 15, 25, or 30. My understanding is that you need to have 'Operator Control Call Forwarding' turned off to do this. If you have it on it can interfere with this command and it may not work. I don't know what operator control call forwarding even is, but that's what I was told. I'm also not sure if you can disable it yourself in the voicemail options, so if you can't you'll have to call 611. I hope someone else finds this useful, I did!!!
Guest gjrober Posted February 6, 2004 Report Posted February 6, 2004 Does anyone know how to extend the ringtime on the VODAFONE network please?
Guest bamboo Posted February 7, 2004 Report Posted February 7, 2004 Does anyone know how to extend the ringtime on the VODAFONE network please? Second that.
Guest v1nn1e Posted February 7, 2004 Report Posted February 7, 2004 try **61*X**30# X = Your voicemail number, don't know vodafones personally but know O2 and Orange. Works on both of these networks, so should work with voda if you get the vm number. type with international codes. so .. **61*+447973100123**30# is Orange the 30 is the max on most networks.
