dictaphone function

I want to use the dictaphone funtion to record a lecture. Any ideas how to make it record onto the SD card direct. I have a 128 MB card. How much voice recording will that take. I need about an hour.

I think it records to .ARM format.. Well, at least the MMS recording does.. And I would think if SD is in, it should record straight to it... as it does with pictures. Must be in My DocsMy Sounds folder thenb...

Just had a play on mine.

It recorded to IPSM/My Documents/Notes

it's a WAV and 10 seconds was 18.5kb.

That's in phone memory even though I have my SDCard in...

So not so useful... maybe someone will make a better voice recording app in the future? Wouldn't necessarily hold my breath for compression on the fly considering that in MMS it takes about 10 times longer to compress the sound byte to ADM than it takes to record it...
