Guest blackhorse Posted September 26, 2003 Report Posted September 26, 2003 Some of you's may know i work for Orange, but not on the technical side so thats my excuse and im sticking to it!! A couple questions that i got, hopefully can be cleared up quite easily! Firstly what would people say the best bitrate to put MP3's on at? Currently got 128. Secondly is there any way to use the phones storage area as memory? i have a 256mb sd card dont really need the phones allocated storage area. Lastly, This probably more a hardware question, but is there anything out, that will plug into handsfree socket but will allow you to plug your own earphones into that? (really dont like the earphones provided)
Guest MECX Posted September 26, 2003 Report Posted September 26, 2003 i like 64kbps WMA's ---use media player 9 and convert your songs on the fly to your phone. the phones storage area isnt fast enough for memory so no. yes there are many adaptors --go to maplins and get a stereo 2.5-3.5 converter---about 70p or sumthin. hope that helps

Guest blackhorse Posted September 26, 2003 Report Posted September 26, 2003 Sweeeet! Cheers mate, looks exactly what im after, you recomend it im guessing! ;) Want to use some of my 256mb of SD card for MP3/WMA but really detest headphone that come wid it. Now dont shout at me for this as im sure you have asswered 1000 times!!, but whilst ive got your attention what player would you say is the best for MP3? Not fussed if its one you gotta pay for, just find W M Player not really what i need.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted September 26, 2003 Report Posted September 26, 2003 Well I wrote the review ;) I like it and it retracts neatly. As for the second question, PocketMVP plays mp3 and then you have access to play decent Divx films :D
