Guest pisquee Posted September 28, 2003 Report Posted September 28, 2003 need is a very strong word and the SPV has a lot of things that could be descibed as pins, for a pinout which pasrt exactly do you want the pinout for, and why?
Guest atari Posted September 28, 2003 Report Posted September 28, 2003 I seek pinout to make serial, usb and power for the phone, I have conector, please help
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted September 29, 2003 Report Posted September 29, 2003 Pinouts have not been posted as far as I know ;) the XDA has similar pinouts so may be an idea to look for those. I did have a link for the XDA pinouts but it's a dead link now :D
Guest Will Posted September 29, 2003 Report Posted September 29, 2003 Compiled with help from the www.xda-developers.com pages The SPV connector pinout - use these at your own risk. If the screen flickers, DISCONNECT. Assuming : With the phone screen down, pin 1 is the bottom left, pin 22 is the top right 1 CAR_MIC_IN 2 GND 3 CAR_AUDIO_R 4 CAR_AUDIO_L 5 GND 6 RS232_DCD 7 RS232_CTS 8 RS232_TXD 9 RS232_RTS 10 RS232_RXD 11 RS232_DTR 12 NC 13 USB_VDD 14 UDC+ 15 UDC- 16 GND 17 GND 18 GND 19 CAR_ON# 20 V_ADP 21 V_ADP 22 V_ADP RED indicated these may be swapped... I cannot remember if this occured or not! # CAR_ON# is connected to +6V on the car charger, it's not connected in the cradle. +6V makes the phone go to speaker mode immediately when picked up or dialing. (I COULD NOT GET THIS WORKING). # Connecting CAR_ON seems to inhibit syncing. # When this pin is connected to ground, the internal mike and speaker are turned off, and audio input is taken from the audio input pin on the connector, for use in real car kits. # Audio needs to be capacitively coupled in, any DC bias seems to inhibit audio. (CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN THIS TO ME) # It's a nightmare to try and solder all the pins, so make several smaller cables, in stead of a 'super cable'. Will
