Will msn messenger work with wap?

Can i use msn messenger with o2 wap? or do i need gprs. another thing is o2 offers 300 free gprs pages, how long can i spend of msn messnger for free with o2?

I think MSN messenger on the SPV does actually work with WAP :shock:

I can get MSN messenger app to work with Orange GPRS WAP but not O2 GPRS WAP ;) If you are on contract you can still use either the GPRS Internet or the dialup connection for Messenger although I probably wouldn't use the CSD dialup unless you are 100% sure that is free.

If you are on prepaid SIM then you can use the dialup connection for Messenger and then monitor for any charges. I used to get free dialup on my O2 prepaid SIM for internet access but for some reason it seems be costing me loads now :? Maybe its because I didn't stick to the £10 a month thing.

you can get msn on o2 dial up wap. you wont be able to use msn or the internet pages with gprs wap on the o2 netwrok as there not set up for this. I thing they can only use gprs for media messaging or wap pages, they cant access the interent or msn ect using gprs (they can on the o2 XDA but it think that is exception to the rule they way its set up and it doesn use medie messaging)
