Hi There,

I do not agree (HALF) with it there are a lot of games non 3 in a row that are availble for pocket devices SP, Palm, Pocket pc and so on.

Maybe you have to search better because there are a lot of nice games.

For example you have for the sp

Toki Tori, Lemonade tycoon, racing games as x racer and micro turismo.

And a lot more search Handango for more games for all the "small devices" .

Hope you find what you like.

For now I agree and disagree with you orriginal and inovating games are not released as much as we want there are more 3 in a row games released but for sure there are very nice non 3 in a row games.

I know what you mean as there is a distinct lack of originality in the games industry as a whole, but as far as the smartphone is concerned some of my favourites are remakes of old games.

SPVMan, SPVInvaders, Smartanoid, ExBubble and Pong.

As well as Pocket MiniGolf of course.

Personally I feel the small screen of the phone is ideally suited to these games.

What ever happened to the horizontal shoot em up... Bring back R-Type ( or at least a clone) or Streets of rage type beat em up. The graphics don't have to brill.

I have a game on my Atari 800XL called Leggit.Where a stickman has to jump up through a gap in the roof/floor and make his way to the top avoiding such obsticles as flying witches and alike. It has 100 levels and I've owned it for over 14yrs now and I still can't beat the bloody thing. It takes 25 mins to load and is the most addictive game I've ever played.

Game Play over quality any day.
