A little story...

I would like to tell you all of my experience with my SPV....

I first bought my SPV about a month ago, about a week after it was on the streets where I live. With it, I bought a 128 MB MMC. The same day in school, I accidently lost my little Orange-bag with the card and my guarantee-certificate. :shock: OUPS!! :shock: That was expensive... But nonetheless I ordered another one the minute I got home.

After filling it up with mp3's a couple of days later, I used it at any occasion possible (cuz what's cooler than listening to music on your phone?!). One day when the bell rang at school, I was plugging in my headset to listen to some music. Someone bumped into me while I was doing that, so the plug broke, so ½ of the plug was in the phone :cry:

I send it to get repaired the same day it broke. I was told what a new headset costs, but they did not know what the price for the repairs was.

That was around 3 weeks ago. Last week I wanted to ask the people in the store, when my SPV was back from rep, but when I got to the store, it had closed.... :evil: PERMANENTLY!! :evil:

I phoned Orange-service the minute I came home, and they sad that my SPV was finished at rep, and that they would send it to me by mail. As I said, that was last week, and I still haven't seen it.

Now is the GOOOOD part. A guy from another Orange-shop calls me, to tell me that he has got my SPV. :D :( I asked for the price on the rep, and he tells me that they have replaced the entire phone. Thats not gonna be cheap I thought, but he told me that I only had to pay for a new headset. WEEE!! I asked him if they remembered to pull my 128 MB MCC out of the phone before disposing of it, but he didn't know, so he checked it out for me.

It had vanished!! :cry:

He felt so bad about it, so he told me that he would just give me one. He had never talked to the one's I gave the phone about any card inside the phone, he just trusted me....

Status:

Without any guarantee, I had my broken phone replaced AND gotten a new 128 MB card from a man I have never met, all for the price of a new headset....

THAT'S WHAT I CALL SERVICE!!

So for all of you who are complaining about Orange and their services, I must admit that I can't complain.... Perhaps they're just friendlier where I live... :(

What an interesting story, perhaps you should be a little more careful with your SPV in the future though :D

By the way.... The cost for having a 7650 is not cheap... NOT CHEAP AT ALL!! Don't break it if you buy one....

I didn't know orange shops stocked MMC or SD cards!

I think I talked to the owner of the shop, so I guess he's the one who ends up paying for it...

When I bought it, the store sold me a 128 MB MCC as well... they didn't carry SD or I would have bought one of those...
